Applications are invited from Indian National for the under mentioned posts for eligible Indian nationals for the under mentioned posts to reach Recruitment Cell, NCVD, Pin 909095, C/O 56 APO by registered post with in twenty two (22) days (28 days in respect of candidates belonging to Andaman and Nicobar Islands & Lakshadweep) from the date of publication of this advertisement.

1.Name of the post : Fireman

Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-I Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Educational/Technical Qualification :
(a) Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized university/board.
(b) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties. This requirement will be tested as under;
(i) Height without shoes - 165 Cms
(ii) Chest (Un expanded) - 81.5 Cms
(iii) Chest (On expansion) - 85 Cms
(iv) Weight - 50 Kg (Minimum)
(c) Initial Physical Test :-
The candidates will be initially put through a 1.6 kilometer run, only those candidates, selected on the basis of this Test, will be eligible for the further recruitment process and various tests thereafter.
(d) Endurance Test :
(i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 Kg to a distance of 183 Meters within 96 seconds
(ii) Clearing 2.7 Meters wide ditch landing on both feet (Long Jump).
(iii) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using Hand and feet.

2. Name of the post : Labourer

Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-I Rs.5200 - 20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Educational/Technical Qualification :
(i) Essential- Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized university/ board.
(ii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.

3. Name of the post : Fitter
No. of post : 01
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-I Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Educational/Technical Qualification :
(a) Matriculation or equivalent.
(b) Certificate from a recognized Technical Training Institute in the trade. Or 3 years` training or experience of actual work in a Government workshop or a private firm of repute.

Age limit : Between 18 to 25 Years

What is the age relaxation for disabled persons?

Age Limit:- For PH : UR = 18 to 35 yrs, SC & ST – 18 to 40 & OBC – 18 to 38 yrs.
(a) Age limit is between 18 to 25 Years (the upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST upto 5 years and for OBC upto 3 years and for Physically Handicapped upto 10 years).
(b) For ESM : Age limit for ESM will be determined as under: Present age minus (period of service rendered in Armed forces plus three years grace) not to exceed 25 yrs.
(c) The OBC candidates who apply against general posts will not be given any age and other concession meant for OBC.
(d) Age should not be more than the maximum and less than the minimum prescribed age on the last date of receipt of the application i.e. 22 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
(e) Five years age over and above the age relaxation is admissible to those candidates who were domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir between 01 Jan 1980 to 31 Dec 89. Photocopy of domicile certificate duly attested must be enclosed wherever applicable.
