Postgraduate Entrance Examination 2013 (PGEE 2013)

IIIT-H is looking for students who aim to transform industry and society by developing new applications/systems by doing cutting-edge research. We focus on research in the core areas of Information Technology and its application in other areas.

IIIT-H is inviting applications for the academic year 2013-14 from the candidates who have completed (or going to complete by July 2013) B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch. etc., in any branch of Engineering, B.Sc. in Agriculture (or equivalent), BSc in Physics, Chemistry or Biology with good Mathematics background, or M.Tech./M.E./MCA/M.Sc./M.A. for admission into Postgraduate and Research programs in the areas of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, VLSI and Computer Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Natural Sciences (Dual-Degree & MSc), IT in Building Sciences, Spatial Informatics (Remote Sensing and GIS) and Humanities .

* Last Date for the Submission of Applications through the PGEE Portal : 22 March 2013
* Last Date for the receipt of Application fee (DD) at IIIT Hyderabad : 24 March 2013
* Admit Cards will be made available for download in PDF format : 12 April 2012

Postgraduate Entrance Examination ( PGEE ) will be held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi .

How To Apply :
All applications should be submitted through online in PGEE portal. To submit the application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms : Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form.

** Filling of Pre-Registration Form.( http://admissions.iiit.ac.in/PGEE/portal/pre/) (online payment is recommended)
After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-Mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form.

Demand Draft in favor of IIIT Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad for appropriate amount should be drawn. A candidate must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.

** Filling of Main Registration Form
The main registration form can only be filled by opening the link received through the E-Mail, after filling in the preceeding pre-registration form.

About Application Fees :
** Applicants can apply for one or more programmes in the same form by indicating choices.

** The application fee is Rs. 1200/- for one programme and Rs. 50/- extra for each additional programme applied for.

** Application fee can be paid either through Credit Card or through Demand Draft.

** Credit Card - While filling-in the Main Registration form, the candidate can opt for Credit Card option follow the subsequent instruction.

** Demand Draft- While filling-in the Main Registration form, the candidate can opt for Demand Draft option. After submitting the Main Registration form. Demand Draft in favor of IIIT Hyderabad for appropriate amount should be drawn. A candidate must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.
