Applications are invited by the undersigned on plain paper from the eligible candidates for TWO posts of Junior Research Fellows in a Department of Biotechnology, Government of India approved research project in this laboratory.

Title of the project : “Host-parasite interaction: Transcriptome responses to parasitism in the silkworm, Bombyx mori”.
Tenure of the project : 3 years

Essential Qualifications :
1. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
2. B.Sc Degree or Honors in Biological sciences/Zoology/Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
Desirable qualifications : Preference will be given to CSIR-UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates.

Qualification : A Doctorate degree in Entomology / Zoology / Agriculture / Botany / Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University with a minimum of 12 years Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Joint Director [now re-designated as Scientist-D] in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100 + Grade pay of Rs.7600/- or equivalent.
