- Cloning and sequencing of cry1A gene from soil isolates of Bacillus Thuringiensis, performed at S.V. Veterinary University. Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Description : This project the cloning of cry1A gene from Bacillus thuringiensis strains and the 850 bp long PCR product was cloned in E.coli host JM 109 using pJET 1.2/ blunt vector, the cloned fragment was confirmed by colony PCR using pJET 1.2 forward sequencing primer and reverse sequencing primer. The product was sent for sequencing and the obtained sequences were analyzed using BLAST.
