About my Career

Initially I have worked for HDFC Chubb General Insurance for a couple of years where in I got the experience in processing the various policies related various insurances. This includes the settlement of the policies , processing of the claims , renewal of the policies , customer feedback and all related works. Since the job was on temporary basis I had to leave the job.

After leaving the above job I joined a group of companies manufacturing companies engaged in the manufacture of high carbon steel wires and steel wire ropes and various wire rope products mainly catering to requirements of most of the Govt departments like Railways , Port Trust , ONGC , NTPC , Steel Plants , Coal Fields , Defence Department etc etc. presently I am continuing with the job.

In this company the nature of work is that I am fully responsible for tracking the tenders from various Govt. websites , downloading the tenders and studying the feasibility of participation in the tenders by coordinating with technical head etc. thereafter the quotations are prepared as per the various NIT terms.

I also do correspondence with little guidance with the tendering authorities , entering into techno commercials negotiations by writing letters with the help of the commercial heads of the company. I am also aware of all the procedures right from acknowledging the purchase orders , verification of the same , inspection procedures , dispatch procedures , execution of orders including billing , refund of EMD , Security Deposits etc. , following up with the various inspection agencies like RITES , IRS , and railway inspection agencies etc. etc.

In short I am fully aware of the complete sales administration and of course in the initial stage I may require co-operation from my superiors. I am an enthusiastic candidate to take any challenge in my field and I hope this will enable you to find out a suitable opening for me in your organization.
