Simple Steps to apply online

Instructions and Procedure for Online Application Form WBJEE - 2013 :
1. Please read the instructions and procedures carefully before you start filling the application form.
2. Candidates of WBJEE - 2013 have to apply ONLINE ONLY.
3. Please ensure that you are filling genuine application form available online at WBJEE website (http://wbjeeb.nic.in).
4. Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for WBJEE.

5. Examination Fees (in Indian Rupees) for WBJEE -2013 is Rs. 506/- (inclusive of service charges) for all categories of applicants.
6. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. Multiple applications of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
7. The name in the application form must be the same as registered in class 12 or equivalent Examination.

8. The examination fee can be remitted through eChallan by depositing in WBJEEB Bank Account with Allahabad Bank or India Post (ePost Office).

9. After successful registration, candidates is required to Download the system generated eChallan of respective Bank/Post Office and pay the examination fee in any CBS branch of respective Bank/Post Office.

10. After fee payment, candidates are required to visit website again and login to enter eChallan payment details. After that a Confirmation Page will be generated.

11. Candidates are required to take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete it in all respect and send the Confirmation Page, Original Payment Receipt along with supporting documents, as applicable (Domicile certificate, Category certificate, Physically Disable certificate, TFW certificate ) by Speed Post to the address given below:

12. After submission of an application, no option can be changed at a later stage.
13. Correspondences related to WBJEE – 2013 should be addressed to the Registrar, WBJEE.
14. The application no. printed on the computer generated Confirmation Page must be mentioned in all such correspondences. It is therefore essential to note down the application number printed on the Confirmation Page.
15. Exam fees is non-refundable.

How do I submit the Confirmation Report?

PRINT CONFIRMATION PAGE & TOP SHEET.
After generation of Confirmation Page & Top
Sheet; the candidate has to:
(a). Take a print out of the sheets generated in pdf file format;
(b). Fill up the same, paste coloured passport size photographs at reQuisite places with gum (paper adhesive), sign on one of them where the place is marked as SELF ATTESTED and put LEFT THUMB IMPRESSION (LTI) in one of the boxes therein while sign in another, get the underneath box signed by father / mother / gu ardian as per preference and availability and check that all fields in both the sheets are filled properly;
(c). Note the ENCLOSURES REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED TO THE TOP SHEET mentioned in both the sheets so generated;
(d). Thereafter the ‘Confirmation Report, Top Sheet attached / stapled to enclosures enlisted therein have to be put inside SINGLE ENELOPE and sent to the Board Office by Speed Post

Who are eligible to apply?

Any student intending to pursue engineering & technological studies in the undergraduate level in the State of West Bengal and is either appearing or has passed the approved 10+2 standard Board / West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examinations (WBCHSE) in 2013 or earlier with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects CAN APPLY provided that the student either fulfils other academic criterion or would fulfil before the commencement of Counselling Process prior to physical admission into the institutes for 2013 – 2014 academic year.

How to check my application status?

The candidate needs to visit the Board’s other website at http://www.wbjeeb.in and log in with ‘Application Number’ to know the status of disposal of the submitted ‘Application Form.’ In case any discrepancy is found and known by the candidate there from; actions enumerated under have to be followed.

How to download the admit card?

Once the ‘Application Form’ is verified and found correct in all respect; Admit Cards of all such verified candidates will be generated and published online in downloadable format (pdf) besides same the will be sent to the candidates via India Post.

I have submitted my confirmation page. I want to change my address now. What can I do? It is possible?

The candidate MUST come to the Board Office personally, fill in a specific ‘form’ (to be supplied by the Board at that time), detailing his wrong entries and justify the correct ones proposed therein supported with documentary evidence and submit the same physically at the Board.
