Project Title : IPTV SET TOP BOX (8 layer Board)
Duration : 18 months (Sep’09 to Oct’10)
Description :
Internet Television (IPTV) is a set of standards for delivering digital television channels (service) over an Internet Protocol transfer network ,it also decodes digital multimedia streams into legacy video signals for the end user. In this system it contains Digital media processor, video and audio interface ,user interface, broad band and wireless connectivity, power conversion. Digital media processor is the heart of the system, it can also handle complex processing functions such as decoding, Transcoding/encoding (converting from one format to another) and transrating (scaling from a higher to a lower bit rate). At the point of reception, the payload is extracted, audio and video streams are decoded, and displayed on the end user’s TV set. As legacy TV sets are incapable of receiving this IP stream, providers deploy a set-top-box unit on the customers’ premises, which connects to the IP network and outputs legacy video signal for the TV set.

powered with one Li-ion or Li-polymer cell and require multiple power rails., and The device is controlled via an I2C interface.

Description :
The JMH330 is a single chip for serial to parallel ATA conversion. It embeds the Serial ATA Generation 1 PHY (1.5Gbps), Link, Transport, and Application layer support both ATA/APATI-7 command set.The main applications are for serial ATA storage devices connecting to traditional IDE south bridge. For traditional IDE host, the JMH330 bridge supports master only, the JMH330S bridge supports slave only.

Board creation, Database creation, Placement, Routing, Gerber generation.

- Used ORCAD and PADS software tools to capture analog and digital schematics, layout PCB, generate BOM, Generate Gerber files, and perform packaging design analysis.
- Design multiplayer PCB Using OrCAD, and SPECCTRA Autorouter. Incorporating High Speed, DFM, and DFT techniques on a broad range of PCB designs.
