Fault and alarm management :
- Analysis of the Hardware faults, diagnosis & troubleshooting them by replacement of faulty cards in MSU.
- Providing solution to network complaints related to Incoming & Outgoing calls, Delay Dial Tone, One way Speech & Subscriber EQN or DN related problems.
Backup, Record Keeping, Documentation and Other Responsibilities :
- Back up of System nodes as per vendor procedure (Routine & Golden) and backup of CDRs on daily basis, maintaining Log book and records of surveillance requests on daily basis, documentation of network connectivity and all approvals
- Assisting security agencies for monitoring and data retrieval purposes (Legal Interception).
- In case of hardware failure in the system, diagnosis of failed part and replacement of the same with spare parts in minimum or no outage duration. Also participated in the expansion of switch, both hardware and data generation (ODAGEN),in the installation of various modules of switch with the help of vendor.
- Looking after the overall switching operations and maintenance of SEIMENS EWSD Innovative Version Switch ( CP113E ).
- Performing several type of expansions/software upgradations and other related activities.
