Working as a Network Engineer in KPIT Cummins Info systems limited since one year.
FUNCTIONAL :
- Mainly handling the LAN/WAN projects, new requirements, expansion and major customer/client network integration.
- Designing, implementing and supporting networks, maintaining, updating the LAN/WAN/Security diagrams of the site, Managing private IP allocation and ensuring minimal downtime of machines.
- Co-ordination among different teams involving in different operations right now from Network design till Internet line/WAN link installation at company/customer premises.

- Installation, configuration and monitoring network device uptime and performance using Nagios and MRTG (corporate network monitoring).
- Also maintaining voice Infrastructure of KPIT.CUCM basic call routing as per available ISP(PRI/BRI), configuring CISCO phones(7940,6921,6902) for end users, produce the authcode(route pattern)

KEY PROJECTS HANDLED :
1) Migration of offices located in Bangalore location :
- The goal of project was smooth migration of end users to one if the new office.
- This was achieved by consolidating all network and security policies for projects at different locations, document all requirements for migrations of projects to new locations without any impact on production.
- Design and implement Layer3 architecture with Vlans, ACLs, Ether channels, and routing.
- This was a setup done for approximately 2500 people.
2) RESTRUCTURE OF MAIN BUILDING :
- Implement inter building ether channel to 20GBPS.
- Replacing old switches with new switches and providing Gig Ethernet uplinks.
- New module installation and Revamp of racks.
3) IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW OFFICE BLUE RIDGE IN PUNE :
- The goal was setup done for approximately 700 users.
- Implement of two separate networks in three tier architecture.
- New IP configurations and new configurations of distribution stack switches.
- Upgrading the switches with new licences.
