Applications are invited for walk-in-interview on 23.01.2013 for the posts of Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow in Plant Breeding and Genetics under DBT project entitled “Deployment of molecular markers in chickpea breeding for developing superior cultivars with enhanced disease resistance”.

Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, JNKVV, Jabalpur invites the applications for the post of following contractual positions upto 31.03.2014 under DBT ad hoc research project “Deployment of molecular markers in chickpea breeding for developing superior cultivars with enhanced disease resistance” as detailed below;

1.Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow
No. of post : one
Scale in Rs. Per month : Rs.16000/- +HRA
Essential Qualification : M. Sc (Ag). Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agriculture Biotechnology/ Biotechnology
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge of Agriculture and molecular marker techniques

2.Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow
No. of post : one
Scale in Rs. Per month : Rs.12000/- +HRA
Essential Qualification : M. Sc (Ag). Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agriculture Biotechnology/ Biotechnology
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge of Agriculture and molecular marker techniques in Chickpea

3. Name of the post : Research associate
No. of post : one
Scale in Rs. Per month : Rs.22000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification : M. Sc (Ag). Plant Breeding & Genetics
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having degree in agriculture

Maximum age limit : 35 years as on date of interview.

Fee : Candidate should produce DD of Rs. 100/- in favour of Dean, JNKVV, Jabalpur at the time of interview which will be exempted for SC/ST candidates.
