- Review Contractors quality documents such as Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, Welding Procedure Specifications, NDT Procedures, Repair procedures, Painting Application procedures etc.
- Evaluate Supplier, Purchase Orders, Technical Bid Evaluation, in coordination with related departments.

Position Held : QA/QC Inspector (Mechanical)
Period : June1990 to Nov 1993
Duties & Responsibilities :-
- Planning and execution of day to day activities as per the Project Quality plan and Quality Control plans.
- Interact with clients for work site related QA/QC issues.
- Qualification of welders, Blasters, Painters Etc. and execute training programmes, training school activities
- Surveillance Inspection of welding/Painting activities, consumable control, welder performance assessment, analyzes cause of repairs & initiate preventive measures
- Witness Hydro test, pneumatic tests & Pigging for various lines, storage tanks, vessels & heat exchangers etc
- Assist the documentation of test pack preparation, As built, pressure test, post test inspection activities, pre-commissioning & final documentation.
- Co–ordination of subcontractor’s activities – (NDT, PWHT & Painting.) and confirm the activities have been carried accordance to the project quality requirements.
- Monitor all painting & coating inspection activities – paint system checks, surface preparation, priming, painting & coating activities, heat shrink sleeve applications, internal linings. Performing, evaluating, & documenting all required tests.
- Ensure upkeep, issue, proper use of personal protective equipments and Implementation of QA/QC and HSE plans, procedures Etc.
