** Register your complaint in the Post Office where transaction has taken place and get acknowledgement.

** Approach next higher authority of the Department if the complaint is not settled in a reasonable time.

ePOST messages will be transmitted on the same day to the ePOST center, nearest to the destination. ePOST center will get it printed and ePOST message will be delivered by the postman at the destination in the form of hard copy.

COMPLAINT : NON DELIVERY OF SPEED POST

Sir,
The State bank of Mysore by a SMS informed me on the 13/03/13, as under --
That a Cheque book has been despatched on 13/03/13 via speed post REF EK 99531214 at address as below --

on getting the SMS I contacted the Post office at Dr Shiv Kranth Nagar. I was told that the Speed Post will come to the FAZER TOWN PO.Bangalore.On checking the status it was found that the consignment has reached the FAZER TOWN PO. I was given the mobile No of Post man Mr Harish 8894655579 to whom I spoke and forwarded the SMS received by me from the bank giving the reference no.of the letter.
However ,again on the 20/03/13 I get a sms saying that the article EK 444623433IN booked on 19/03/13 was delivered on 20/03/13. still the cheque book was not delivered to me,as such I again spoke to Mr Harish and forwarded to him the SMS recieved by me from postal Dept.He informed me that the article has been sent bak to the sender.
On contacting my Bank I was told that the cheque book has not been recieved by them and advised me to take up the matter with the Postal Dept.Meanwhile the Postal Dept sent me SMS on the 22/03/13 that article EK444623787IN was delivered on the 22/03/13.
I would request to get the cheque book traced and get the same delivered to me at the given address.
