    NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI

    ADMISSION NOTICE : 2013-2014

    The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India. The University invites applications for admission to B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes for the academic year 2013-14 commencing from August, 2013. Eligibility, total seats & other details for these programmes are as under;

    FIVE-YEAR B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) :
    Age : Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2013
    Total Seats : 80
    Reservation : 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
    Eligibility : Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2013 can also apply.
    Note :One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants. The candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.

    LL.M. :
    Total Seats : 20 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.
    Reservation : 15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
    Eligibility : LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, 2013 can also apply.

    Ph.D. :
    Eligibility : LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). For detailed eligibility conditions visit University website.

    Selection procedure : Admission to B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes will be through AILET to be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida and Patna on April 28, 2013(Sunday).

    Fee :
    General Candidates : Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only)
    SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PD) : Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only)
    Demand Draft drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi

    How to Apply :
    Interested candidates may apply along with a Demand Draft long with copies of requisite Caste/PD Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee. For further details relating to Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Pattern of Entrance Test etc. visit University website.

    The students can also apply online for admission through the Website up to April 5, 2013.

    I am a 42 years old. My qualification is 10+2 from NIOS (National Institute of Schooling, Delhi). Can I apply for five years law course which entrance exam will be conducted on 28 Apr 2013. I am a serving soldier. Presently, I am serving in Delhi area.
