Keys to Question Papers of Departmental Examination – 2012 for ITOs. & ITIs. :

The Directorate of Income Tax (IT) has issued the result of the Departmental Examination - 2012 for ITOs on 28/12/2012. With a view to enhance transparency and to facilitate the candidates, the keys to the questions papers of all the Objective Type Subjects are being uploaded. The keys are available for each of the four sets viz. Set A, Set B, Set C and Set D for the following papers.

The answer keys in respect of Paper-I of the ITO Departmental Examination 2012 for Questions pertaining to amount of deduction allowable u/s.80E, amount of deduction allowable for persons with severe disability u/s.80U and the time limit for completion of reassessment u/s.147 for cases where notice u/s.148 was served has been found 'wrong'. The correct answer should be for 80E the choice of option should be Rs.30000/-; and for 80U it should be Rs.100000/-; and the time limit should be 31st March, 2014 for the AY 2011-12.
