Project title : Analyzing solutions to the problem of Information Overload in Banks: The case of HSBC Bank (India).
Company : HSBC bank.
Overview :
The concept of information overload has been looked at length during the course of this study. Although it was confusing to state the concept as a problem or an emerging technology, it was certain that due to the modern advancements in technology, information was more than one individual could possibly process. Hence, there are various decision making systems that were designed for efficient processing of information. However, it was seen that even though these systems were installed there was still some improper management of information due to which the customers’ waiting times were increased. This research hence tried to find out the results based on a two way analysis. After the analysis the results show that the problem of information overload does exist but not considered as a problem by the bank. Various decision making strategies were recommended which will help the bank to overcome the hidden problem.
Experience :
The below mentioned part-time jobs were done while pursuing MBA in UK.
- Worked in one of the leading supermarket chain as a customer service assistant. The job role is to assist the customers with their queries and making sure that they are satisfied.
- Worked in one of the leading stock taking company as Supervisor. The job role is to manage a group of counters by making sure the stock counting is finished in the given time by maintaining the counting accuracy.
