JOB PROFILE :
Material Procurement :
- Receive purchase request given by Team leaders
- Vendor Development
- To open the Vendor code & item code.
- Material planning as per target achieve to dispatch.
- Commitment with the supplier on timely delivery.
- Follow up with the Supplier & Transporter.
- Analysis costing and rate negotiating with suppliers.
- Raise RFQ’s (Request for Quotation) to vendors.
- Follow and get the offers from the vendors.
- To make the Purchase Order & Service Order.
- After approval of a tender/ offer place the Purchase order to the respective vendor.
- To make the daily shortage report and initiative action to timely stock in stores
Material Receipt :
- Check the material received at stores for specifications of the product, quantity, price, tax, VAT etc against the Purchase Order raised
- To arrange Q.A. for incoming material.
- To keep the material in its specific location with receiving date wise.
- Raise the GRIN (Goods Receipt Inward Note) for the materials checked and tallied against the PO.
- Maintain Budget record.
- Generate the Sale Invoice
- Maintain Minimum Stock Level (MSL).
- Analysis of ABC Class
- To keep the proper record of RGP and track time to time.
- PR (Purchase Requisition) Convert in to PO record.
- Daily review of stock & Plan Weekly requirement
- Arrange to Dispatch the Spares Parts to Customers & Maintain proper records.
- Rejected material stored separately with proper indication tag.
Issue of materials
- Follow the FIFO method while issuing the material.
- Analysis of data on receipt, issues, slow moving, pending orders, inventory, duplicate vendor, duplicate material etc.
- Conduct perpetual audit/ Physical verification of stock and material
- Aiding and supporting monthly auditing of materials with Team Leaders.
- Assigning tags for the materials and placing them in the respective racks after the tub entry to avoid duplicates.
Accountability/Key Result Areas :
- Raising correct/error free GRIN’s
- Sending invoices to Accounts Deptt. after GRN routine wise
- Co-ordination of Quality Inspection on Materials procured prior to material issue.
- Maintain the 5S systems.
- Inventory Control.
- Maintain all documentation for the Audit point of view.

- Implement operation policies and procedures in compliance with organization policies and objective relating to material management.
- Analyze requirements, select suppliers, and negotiate price, terms, conditions, place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance.
- Lead and manage a team of materials planning/Stores in fulfilling material management function.
- Examine and authorize the purchasing decision Monitor and control inventory level.
- Develop inventory goals and measurement to drive inventory velocity.
- Ensure all stock rotations, price claims, bills backs and product returns are completed in a timely manner.
- Analyze and evaluate inventory and delivery problems and recommends solutions.
- Manage supply base to meet or exceed quality, delivery, cost and service requirements.
- Maintain minimum inventory for consumables by developing nearest source of supply
