Job Description
Under the overall supervision of the Director and the Co-ordinator, Health Project, the Medical Officer will be responsible for curative and preventive health care of children:

1. To conduct regular health check ups of the children

2. To look after the medical care needs of children who are in contact with the organization.

3. To prepare health records of all children who come in regular contact with the organization.

4. To help organise meetings and prepare reports.

5. To involve and ensure children’s participation in the decision making process.

6. To develop teaching-learning materials for health project and to assist in conducting health education classes for children.

7. To participate in research on children and health related issues. To help in collection of statistics and data on relevant health issues.

8. To participate in conference, seminar/workshop, training and exposure programmes.

9. Submit reports if so desired by your supervisor periodically.

Desired Candidate Profile
• Qualification MBBS degree recognised by Medical council of India (or equivalent)
• Ability to work with children and communicate effectively
• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
• Willing to work in the field
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Hindi
