KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Testing of Incoming Raw Materials;
Testing of all incoming raw materials as per IS specifications and standards set by company, acceptation and rejection of the same. Maintaining the records in hard copy, soft copy and in labsys software. Giving feedback to vendor/SCM for appropriate modifications to ensure good quality.
Product Testing:
Checking slump, density, temperature, of concrete, by taking fresh sample for party wise and grade wise.
Ensuring proper casting of cube samples and conducting compressive test on 7days and 28 days age of sample. Documenting the test results and feeding the data in Labsys software to get test report for submission to clients.
Slump & Mix Control:
Giving proper moisture corrections for aggregates and Admixture dosage with respect to site distance from plant and slump requirement of site structure application. Ensuring the mix selection at plant is correct at the time of batching. Taking feedback from site application engineer regarding the slump at site and getting corrected if necessary.
Submissions to Customers:
Submitting Mix Designs to new customers.
Submission of test results.
Arrange third party tests as and when required.
Consumption & MIS:
Capturing RM consumption figures, special concrete. Generating all QC reports.
Maintaining all the QC documents as per ISO and Lab Sys software.
Complaint Handling:
Capturing all QC complaints, visiting the site as an when required and giving solutions.
Training Labors:
Training lab helpers to handle testing machineries and instruments for better workmenship
Educating micro customers and site labours, about handling of fresh concrete for avoiding surface cracks better results.
Collecting customer feedback, tracking competitor activities, competitor product quality and reporting to Concerned Marketing officer or plant manager for important decisions.
