1. Name of the post : Project Scientist on contract
1. Position code : PS-04

Educational qualification : Masters Degree in Geology with first class with minimum 65% of marks or 6.5/10 CGPA with Remote sensing knowledge. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in field work in hard rock terrains and interests in igneous petrology, geochemistry and remote sensing (mapping and hyper-spectral analysis).
Remuneration :
i) For M.Sc. or equivalent : Rs. 30000/- (Consolidated per month)
ii) For ME/M.Tech./M.S or equivalent : Rs. 35000/-(Consolidated per month)

2. Name of the post : Project Scientist on contract
Position code : PS-05

Educational qualification : M.Tech./ME/M.S in Digital signal processing/Electronics and communication/Computer Science or related fields with first class or equivalent with good exposure to image processing.
Remuneration :
i) For M.Sc. or equivalent : Rs. 30000/- (Consolidated per month)
ii) For ME/M.Tech./M.S or equivalent : Rs. 35000/-(Consolidated per month)

3. Name of the post : Project Assistant on contract

Educational qualification : Master’s Degree in Arts/Social Sciences, essentially in the subject of Literature/Psychology/Sociology/Social Work/Anthropology/History and Political Science from a recognized University with first class. Knowledge of statistics is preferred.
Remuneration : Rs.17000/- (Consolidated per month)

Age Limit as on 28.12.2012 : 35 years.
