Our Operations
Gulf Petrochem has several fields of operations primarily in manufacturing of petroleum products. Our operations in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah include two distillation plants â one for black oils and the other for white products, with a joint capacity of 500 MT per day; an oil storage terminal with dedicated berth on the jetty and a grease manufacturing plant. Our strategy has identified processing and storage of petroleum products as the spearhead of our growth.
Our New Projects
Our new distillation plant with 4 columns and 4 kettles with 30 kl capacity and a storage capacity of 25,000 M3 is presently under commissioning and commercial production will commence from August 2008. We are also putting up an oil storage terminal in Fujairah, UAE with phase-1 capacity of 400,000 m3 on a 200,000 m2 plot less than a kilometer from the port. Our plan is to take this to 1 million m3 in phase 2.

# Job Description in Brief
Export Operation in Gate
The basis of Gate export operations is form 6, from which the required available export containers pre arrival details are entered into the NAVIS EXPRESS
From ticket of pre arrival details of NAVIS EXPRESS the containers are surveyed at the parking yard out side the Gate. After survey the trucker with container approaches in-gate where the container is gate in with terminal yard position pass (EIR) and identification BAT number.
Out Export Operations
After Off-loading the container on yard position allotted the empty vehicles returns back to out gate where exit transaction is completed in EXPRESS.
Import Operation in Gate
After placement of the movement order from CFS/transporter in documentation the empty vehicles approaches gate for container delivery. Depending on the cfs the containers are selected on best pick basis based on hourly updated yard scan plan and given to vehicle , where a gate pass is generated and handed to vehicle along with identification BAT number.
Out Import Operations
After lifting containers from yard the vehicles return back to out gate where exit transaction for container is completed in EXPRESS. All empty containers leaving or entering the port must be inspected by the security prior entering or leaving the port.

JOB EXECUTING
Handling Container Terminal Documentation : -
Job Description in Brief : - All documentation regarding loading / discharging of import / export containers for the vessel. Finalization of Import operation of vessel, Export operation of vessel & Basic Deliveries and Inter Terminal Process.
Job Responsibilities : -
- Before arrival of vessel, vessel declaration is updated into Navis Express and the same is simultaneously updated in Berthing report which is sent to various Shipping Lines and all concerned on daily basis.
- Prior to vessel arrival all the import containers are tallied / finalized against advance list so that discharge of vessel can be done properly and containers can be stacked in designated destination wise yards for smooth deliveries.
- All imports to discharge from vessel need to be distinguished properly as ICD or local and grouped accordingly in Navis Express System for stacking them destination wise after discharge.
- After assigning groups to all import containers in Express, tally is done against agents summary and updation reflected in Sparcs System, and in case any discrepancies then to inform the respective lines to clear before berthing of vessel.
- After cut off in yard exports containers arrived for vessel are matched with agents advance list given for loading/planning. The complete process of EAL is downloaded Through Teus Report, which is then updated in Navis Sparcs system.
- After processing the advance list, tally is done against agents summary and in case any discrepancies then to inform the respective lines to clear before berthing of vessel, in order to facilitate planners to plan vessels.
- After sailing of vessel, Tally Sheet are sent to respective Lines along with the actual loaded/discharged summaries and Shut Out List and Damage Report if any is also provided. Thereafter releasing the Import containers on basis of Enblock permission received from various CFS which are checked for valid custom permission and also delivering import containers on basis of By Road local Delivery Order received from various CHA’s along with respected documents i.e., Form 13, Bill of Entry, and Form 6.
- Reporting to Assistant Manager, Shift Superintendent and Deputy General Manager.
