Design and fabrication of Sky Scraper Façade Cleaning Machine

Various problems are faced by the workers cleaning the facades of tall skyscrapers in the metropolis. The work is carried out manually, hanging from the tall building using ropes. This machine does the same with some human monitoring using simple slider-crank mechanism and suction heads.
The main objective is to design a machine which reduce human effort and also reduce the risk factor involved in this work with additional efficiency and neatness.
Design and analysis of Jig and Fixture or fabrication of Top frame of baling press
The project is carried out at Jadhao Gears, Amravati, a local industry manufacturing cotton processing machinery used in Ginning industry. The above said component is a heavy machine component weighing over 2 tons. Various problems were faced by the company in handling and fabricating the component. The Boring Jig and Welding fixture is useful for the easy loading and unloading of the component and also for easier and faster fabrication.
The various components of jig and fixture were designed, modeled using Pro/E and were analyzed for failure using ANSYS Workbench. 15 hrs of fabrication time and Rs 5000 per component can be saved using the Jig and Fixture.

1. Two weeks’ vocational in-plant training at Koradi Thermal Power Plant, Koradi, Nagpur.
2. Sixty hours workshop on Pro/E Wildfire 4.0 conducted at Govt. College of Engineering, Amravati by Ambitech Consultancy Services, Pune.

1. Second Prize in solid modeling ( Pro/E) competition in Prajwalan 2011, a national level technical festival, at GCOE, Amravati.
