Job Description
* Participate in Conversion Project Execution Plan preparation at the initial stage and also during the course of Project.
* Coordination of production activities within specific areas of conversions projects related to: Pre-task planning, Logistics, Expediting, Completions.
* Study the refurbishment / conversion strategy /client specification / Contract and prepare Master Project Plan for the project.
* Ensure Project milestones and commercial controls are achieved by effective planning including logistics and execution.
* Co-ordination with various Yard Departments and Subcontractors on day today basis for achieving the daily targets in line with detailed Project Program •
* Co-ordinate with various parties involved with conversion project in such a way that the overall risk of failure is mitigated / eliminated.
* Identify Variations from the original contracted Specification and co-ordinate with Conversions Section Commercial to claim from Clients.
* Determine and implement the exact needs of the Client as per Contract & Specification.
* Identify risks at an early stage in the project thus avoiding delays in schedule.
* Periodic Project Reporting to DWD Senior Management and Client.
* Plan and implement continual improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
* Close out documentation.
* Training sub-ordinates in the tasks of Project Management.
* Any other suitable task related with Projects/ Department assigned by Department Manager.
* Conduct Lessons Learnt Meeting during and at the end of Project and document as necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile
Preferably background: Marine Engineering / Offshore Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in any Conversion (preferably Tanker to FPSO / FSO) or Offshore Ship Building yard or Oil/Gas construction organization in a similar position.

MAIN PROJECT: MODELING, ASSEMBLY AND ANALYSIS OF WORM GEAR BOX THROUGH PRO/E AND ANSYS
DESCRIPTION: Worm gear box are generally used in the road rollers. The main purpose of the worm gear box is to reduce the speed. It having two shafts, worm shaft and worm gear shaft, worm shaft is connected to the engine and worm gear shaft is connected to the final drive, for 30 revolutions of worm shaft , worm gear shaft rotates only one rotation for this way speed is reduced. Road roller is a heavy body when it moves high speed the breaks are not applicable and surface is not roll well, that’s way we are using the worm gear box to increase the efficiency of the rolled surface and also breaking.
