INTERVIEW FOR GRANT OF SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION IN ARMY DENTAL CORPS - 2012
1. Reference your application for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Army Dental Corps (AD Corps).

2. You are requested to appear for an INTERVIEW by the Selection Board to be held at Army Dental Centre (Research & Referral) C/O Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt (Near Dhaula Kuan) on at 0800 hrs for grant of SSC in AD Corps.

3. In case you are placed on the select list, you will be required to appear before ‘Medical Board’ for ascertaining medical fitness, on the following working day of the interview. You will be granted Short Service Commission as per your ‘merit in the select list’, availability of vacancy and acceptable medical category for service in Army.

4. You are requested to produce the following certificates (in original) at the time of interview, failing which selection for grant of commission and TA/DA claim will not be considered:-
(a) Proof of Age (Matriculation/SSLC/High School/Higher Secondary certificate).
(b) Dental Registration Certificate (Valid at least upto 31 Dec 2012).
(c) BDS Marksheets.
(d) BDS/MDS Degree Certificate.
(e) Internship Completion Certificate. It must have been completed latest by 31 Oct 2012.
(f) ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer, if employed or bonded with state institutions.
(g) Proof of recognition of Dental College by the Dental Council of India from where you have acquired BDS/MDS degrees. Proof of recognition of the Dental College for particular batch(es) if the college has now been derecognized.
(h) One set of attested photocopies of all the above documents.
(i) 5 copies of recent passport size photographs.
(j) This ‘call letter’ in original.

5. TA/DA for journey to Delhi & back in connection with interview/medical examination is paid after performance of journey when admitted by audit authority. Travelling allowance for your journey will be admissible by Sleeper/Second Class Mail/Express Train only. Details of journey showing railway/bus ticket/PNR number and the particular class in which the same have been performed will be furnished while submitting the TA/DA claim. You are advised to preserve railway/bus tickets to submit its copy with the claim. Bring a cancelled cheque of your bank account to be enclosed with TA/DA claim form for electronically processing your claim.

6. No TA/DA will be admissible if you had previously appeared before Selection Board for grant of commission in AD Corps. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates from NCT Delhi/NC Region.

7. You will have to make your own arrangement for accommodation, transport etc. for the duration of your stay in this station.

8. You are required to submit a Demand Draft of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) of any Nationalised Bank payable at New Delhi in favour of the “Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (AP Fund)”. You should write your name, roll no. and address at the back of demand draft.

I have sent application for SSC during October 2012 for dentist in army. So far no response.
