Job Description
A U.S. based company, (MODIA, LLC) with back office in Navi Mumbai, is seeking an interior designer for its operations worldwide. Duties include but not limited to;

Space planning and drafting of commercial and residential projects.
Drafting of kitchen, bath and furniture layout.
Color rendering (free hands or using computer software).
Design and draft construction document based on US standards.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualified candidate must satisfy or exceed following criteria for this position.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2008
Must have minimum 4 years of experience in Interior Design/Architectural field.
Must have or able to obtain Indian Passport.
Must be able and willing to travel to US for training and projects as necessary.
Experience in 3D Max will be considered a plus.
Experience in photoshop will be considered a plus.

Project :
SMART POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
The aim of this project is to automate the detection of power failures in the electricity distribution system and make the complaint rectification procedure easier and faster. This is implemented by connecting a microcontroller in the transformers to detect the power variations and the GSM modems attached to this will serve as an informer of such failures to the respective regional office having the server. The servers arrange these messages according to the priorities and inform the corresponding area mechanic using SMS to his handheld device. In addition to the above customers can directly send complaints as SMS to the regional office and the rectification procedure is carried out in the same way.

Tools used: PIC Microcontroller,GSM and Visual Basic
