Applications are invited to fill up the position of Senior Research Fellow, Soil Analysts and Skilled Workers purely on temporary basis under the following Projects. The details of qualification, age and emoluments are given below

I.Project Title : Positions under the Project “Soil Based Plant Nutrient Management Plan for Agro-ecosystems of Kerala” Funded by Govt. of Kerala.
Name of the post : Soil Analysts
No. of post : Six
Emoluments : Rs.10,000/-per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualification : B.Sc (Ag) or any Graduate (Chemistry/Physics or any branch of Science)

Name of the post : Skilled Worker
No. of post : One
Emoluments : Rs.6,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualification : SSC / SSLC from a recognized Board
Period : Upto March 2013 or termination of the Project Which ever is earlier.

II. Project Title : Positions under DST Project entitled “Delineation of Potential Areas for commercially important Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in different Agro-ecological Zones of Karnataka using GIS tools.”

Emoluments : Rs.12,000/- + HRA per month (Consolidated)
Period : Upto March 2013 or termination of the Project which ever is earlier.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc (Ag) in Agronomy / Agricultural Chemistry in Soil Science OR Masters in Life Science

III.Project Title : Positions under the Project entitled “Soil Fertility Assessment and Soil health monitoring in traditional rubber growing areas of Kerala, Tamil nadu and Karnataka.”
Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow
No. of post : One
Emoluments : Rs.16,000/- + 30 % HRA
Essential Qualification : M.Sc (Ag) in Ag. Chemistry & Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Masters degree in Chemistry or any branch of Biological Sciences & should possess working knowledge of computer

Name of the post : Soil Analyst
No. of post : Three
Emoluments : Rs.10,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualification : Graduate in Science/ Engineering discipline; Candidate should possess working knowledge of computer & Experience in soil analysis
Period : One year or termination of the Project which ever is earlier

Age Limit for all the positions on the date of interview :
Men : Not more than 35 years
Women : Not more than 40 years

How to Apply :
Eligible candidates should attend walk-in-interview on 15-12-2012 along with copy of their bio data and copies of certificates. Selected candidates shall not be entitled for regular appointment in NBSS & LUP/ICAR as the post is co-terminus with the project.
