ADMISSION NOTICE
3-year LL.B. Course (Session : 2013-2015)

Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from 26.11.2012 to 20.12.2012 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on all working days, at University Sales Counter, Rajbati, Burdwan (and not by post) on payment of Rs. 450/- in cash and on production of original/attested Xerox copy of mark-sheet of the relevant last degree examination and age proof certificate are invited for admission to the 3-year LL.B. course of studies to be imparted at The University of Burdwan, The Law Section of Hooghly Mohsin College and Self-Financing Private Law Colleges (Durgapur Law College, Bengal Law College, Durgapur Institute of Legal Studies & Asansol Law College) affiliated to the University of Burdwan for the academic session 2013-2015. The selection for admission to the course shall be strictly in order of merit on the basis of performance of the eligible candidates at the written admission test to be conducted by the University.

Name of the Course : 3-year LL.B. course

Eligibility : A candidate is eligible to apply for admission into the course if he/she secures not below 45% of the total marks in case of General category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST category at the Bachelor’s Degree examination in 10+ 2 + 3 pattern.

Age : The maximum age of the candidate seeking admission into the course is limited to 30 years in case of General Category and 35 years in case of SC, ST and Other Backward Communities as on 1st January 2013.

Reservation : As per Govt. rules.

Fee : Rs. 450/-

Test Centre : There will be only one test centre i.e., Old Humanities Building, Golapbag Campus, The University of Burdwan.

How to Apply :
i) Application format can be downloaded from the website.

ii) Candidates willing to submit the form on the day of issue must also bring with him/her attested photocopies of all original credentials & two copies of self attested passport size self photograph.

Submission of Form and collection of Hall Ticket :
A blank Hall Ticket will be issued to you with the application form to sit for the Admission Test. Just fill in the relevant portion of the ticket and get it signed and take it back, preferably personally from the Office of the undersigned at the time of submitting duly completed application form. Forms will be submitted only at the Office of the
