Title of the project : The Size & Shape Control Mechanism of Golgi Apparatus.

Duration of the Project : Three years from the date of Appointment
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 12,000 + 3600 (HRA 30%) = Total Rs.15,600/- per month. for the first two years and 14,000 +4200 (HRA 30%) = 18,200/- for the third year.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience : Candidate must have a M.Sc. in Biological sciences, or M.Tech in Biotechnology or Computer Science/Bioinformatics or similar from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Experience in Microscopy and an exposure to basic biology would be highly preferred.

Title of the project :Study to investigate role of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PtdIns4P) binding effector GOLPH3/VPS74 in the size control mechanism of Golgi apparatus by depletion analysis using anchor away knock sideways method.

Consolidated Salary : (Rs. 16,000 + 5400 (HRA 30%) = Total Rs.21,400/- per month
Minimum Qualifications and Experience : In addition to above criterions, the candidate must be CSIR-NET qualified and must have at least 6 months of research experience and well versed in organelle cell biology as well in advanced imaging.
