Job Description
- Ensuring proper control of stocks and inventories in the show room.
- Ensuring Replenishments and to maintain optimal stock level.
- Record maintenance in terms of STS; WRN; SRN and SDN.
- To ensure the back store is maintained properly.
- To ensure the damage control and shrinkage level are maintained in terms of manufacturing defects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ensure that all company rules and procedures are followed with respect to stocks and inventory control.
- Replenishments are done regularly and optimum stock levels maintained in the showroom making maximum use of space and showroom resources.
- The regular feedback is provided in terms of fast/slow/non moving stocks.
- Price revisions are recommended whenever required looking at the movement of products.
- Ageing standards are followed and the stock turns are maintained as per company policy.
- Damage control and shrinkage levels are maintained in terms of manufacturing defects, customer returns, on the floor damages and transit damages and reports are communicated to the management from time to time.
- Ensure the correct procedures in terms of STS, WRN, SRN, and SDN are followed and records are maintained and documented.
- Monitor the discount with respect to selling of damage pcs and necessary approvals taken.
- SRN Management and Backroom standards are maintained.
- Best buys/ promotional products are given preference and managed as per the policy.
- New Shipment details / arrivals / CPS are updated and communicated to sales staff and stock requisition regularly.
- Exhibit and promote high standards of internal customer care.
- To give proper feedback about the new coming items.

DISSERTATION (2008-2009) – carried out in partial fulfilment of M.Sc. Textile Science and Apparel Design.
TITLE: Effect On Application of Mixed Mordants and Natural Colorant on Physical and Fastness properties and Colour measurements of Linen and Cotton Fabrics
under the guidance of Dr. Bharathi patwardhan (H.O.D and Reader)
Brief overview of the dissertation:
2 The objective of this study was to dye 100% linen and 100% cotton fabrics using natural dye manjistha with 3 different mordant combinations i.e. Alum and Harda, Alum and Harda and CuSO4, Alum and Harda and FeSO4.
3 The dyed samples were tested for their physical (constructional and performance) and fastness properties and colour measurements (colour strength and colour data).
4 For physical test the undyed and dyed samples were compared.
