Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for Research Associate (RA) at Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station, Hazaribag (a research station of CRRI, Cuttack) under Sub-project on “Developing sustainable farming system models in prioritized micro watersheds in rainfed areas of Jharkhand” (Component-3) of NAIP funded by the World Bank. The project is operative in Jamtara and Dumka districts of Jharkhand. The duty place of RA will be at Jamtara and Dumka and the official headquarter at CRURRS, Hazaribag. The date of project termination is March 31, 2014.

Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences (Agronomy/Soil Sciences/Agric. Economics/Agric. Extension etc.) with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent Overall Grade Point Average with at least 2 years research experience as evident from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements.
Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 23,000 + HRA as admissible

Qualifications :
Doctoral degree in the Agricultural sciences
Desirable :
1. Working experience in farmers’ field,
2. Working knowledge of computers
Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 24,000 + HRA as admissible

Responsibilities : To provide research support to the project work and any other duty assigned to him by CCPI
