A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 06/12/2012 at 11.a.m. for the position of Project Linked Persons for intramural and extramural projects to be executed by the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani. Each selected applicant will be appointed for a period of one year. The tenure of appointment may be extended depending on performance and availability of funds.

Essential Educational Qualification : M.Sc. in Human Genetics, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Zoology or a similar discipline
Essential Experience : Experience in carrying out analysis of DNA/RNA samples; Laboratory experience of PCR, cloning & expression of genes
Consolidated emolument (Rs.) : 8,000/-fixed per month

Name of the post : Data Analyst - A
No. of post : 1
Essential Educational Qualification : BE/BTech/MSc/MCA or equivalent with a good academic record. Proficient in perl/python/R, C/C++, linux and handling databases(e.g. mysql)
Preference will be given to applicants with background in one or more of the following: Genetics, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics.
Essential Experience : Two year work experience.
Consolidated emolument (Rs.) : 12,000-20,000/- fixed per month.
