Job Description
- Mechanical Design & Calculation of Chemical Process Equipment/Pressure Vessels (such as Columns, Heat Exchangers, Reactors) made of Graphite and Carbon Steel
- Preparation of Detail Drawings (Workshop Drawings) and Parts Lists
- Responsible for Review and Confirmation of Detail Drawings
- Support of Procurement Department for all Sub-supplies with Technical Specification of the Relevant Parts
- Technical Clarification of Design Issues with Clients, Suppliers and Third-Party Inspectors
- Participation in Projects within an International Project/Engineering Team of SGL Group
- Active Co-operation and support of internal and external clients in mechanical design and installation issues

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or similar Education
- Very Good CAD-Knowledge (2D-AutoCAD Mechanical; preferred also 3D-AutoCAD)
- First Experience/Knowledge in Mechanical Calculation of Pressure Vessels (ASME BPV Code VIII/Div.1, preferably also DIN/AD-code)
- Some Experience in Mechanical Design of Chemical Process Equipment
- Very Good English Language and Communication Skills (written and oral)
- Good User of Common Office Software (MS Office Professional or similar)
- Very precise, conscientious way of working and team player
- Willingness to relocate within our Global Engineering Team (at least for several months)
