Terms of reference and other details regarding engagement of Research Associates on fixed term basis are as follows;

Name of the post : Research Associate
Age Limit : Below 32 years as on 1st November 2012.

Qualification :
** Fresh Ph.D. or those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Energy Studies / Nanotechnology / Biotechnology or any other relevant subject and min 60% marks at Graduate/Post graduate level.

** M. Tech in Chemical Engineering / Energy studies or any other relevant subject with min. 60% marks and up to 1 year experience.

** B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or other relevant subject with min 60% marks and at least 5 years suitable and relevant experience.

Job description :
i) To prepare project proposal including work plan on the specific research topic assigned to the candidate

ii) To carryout research activities on the specific topic including literature search, set up experimental facilities, if required, carryout experimental/ pilot/ simulation studies

Stipend : An all-inclusive stipend of Rs.35,000/- to Rs.50,000/- per month depending on qualification & experience, is payable.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be made on the basis of screening of applications and/or screening test of eligible candidates followed by personal interview by the Selection Committee.
