I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE :

Educational & Other Qualifications :
(i) A recognised Medical Qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in part II of the Third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-Graduate Degree Qualifications in the speciality concerned or equivalent

(iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-Graduate degree qualification.

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

2.Name of the post : Lecturer in Orthopaedics

(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956) Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.

(iii) In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected
with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post graduation Diploma.

III. DIRECTORATE OF SOCIAL WELFARE :

IV. GOA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING :

(i) Ph.D. Degree or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D Publications is highly desirable).

(ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech.

(iii) Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor Or

(iv) Minimum 13 years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry.

(v) Knowledge of Konkani.

(ii) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University and candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission
