KSCSTE Research Fellowship-2012
The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment proposes to award research fellowship in the subject areas namely Agricultural Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemical Sciences, Earth System Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Taxonomy (Botany & Zoology).

The candidates should have passed the M. Sc / M. Tech in the first five ranks from any of the Universities in Kerala in the Year 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Eligibility :
Candidates should have awarded MSc/M-Tech degree in any of the subjects listed above in the current year and two previous years.
Candidates should be from among the 1st five rank /position holders from any of the Universities in Kerala.
Age should not be more than 35 years as on 1 st January.

Duration :The period of fellowship shall be for a period not exceeding three years

Amount :
Rs 16,000/- pm for the first two years and Rs 18,000/- for the 3rd years. The fellowship will carry an annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000/- Plus H.R.A.

Mode of Selection :
An aptitude test with objective type questions, both in general and subject areas followed by personal interview for the short listed candidates will be carried out.

How to apply :
Eligible candidates may submit the application in the prescribed format with copies of certificates providing age, educational qualifications, research experience if any and rank position in the Masters Degree. The application should contain mailing address, contact number and e-mail id.

Full set of application in duplicate should reach the

Sastra Bhavan, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date for the receipt of the filled application will be 30.11.2012.

The KSCSTE Fellowship Examination will be on 16.12.2012
