Job Description
- Have full responsibility for the effective line management of staff to ensure that the travel agency is performing to its maximum ability
- Be responsible for the recruitment, coaching, training, appraisal, goal setting and development of staff
- Ensure the travel office team is aware of, and follows, all legal and regulatory requirements
- Support senior management in identifying and nurturing relationships with local businesses and external customers and develop these to firm contracts.
- Financially responsible, having a supervised authority for expenditure to within pre-defined limits
- Audit and monitor financial performance of office & report to the Director

Desired Candidate Profile
- University graduate in a business discipline with 10 years experience in airline / travel industry, of which a minimum of 5 years in a managerial level. Must be able to provide supporting evidence of previous performance and track record.
- Must have extensive experience across a broad range of Airline / travel related disciplines with an in-depth understanding of professional, governmental and legal compliance requirements at a local and international level.
- IATA / UFTAA qualification from a recognized institute
- Experience in GDS (Global Distribution system) - Galileo, Amadeus
- Excellent communication, customer relation skills and high service standards
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Must possess excellent people management skills with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic and other foreign languages would be advantageous.
- Previous experience / awareness in Saudi Arabian travel industries is a must.
