National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali, is an autonomous R&D Institute under Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

The institute carries out cutting edge research at the interface of agricultural, food, nutritional and post harvest biotechnology. Major research programs aim at
i)understanding the interactions among proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, accumulation of micronutrients, enhancing bioavailability, health functions and processing quality of foods,

Note :
i) The JRF should mention their respective research interest of choice from the above areas by briefly describing their plan of work. The JRF will be hired as per the emoluments’ guidelines and service conditions notified by DST (A.20020/11/97-IFD dated 31st March, 2010) varying from Rs12,000/- to Rs18,000/- per month plus HRA.

ii) Suitable candidates will be shortlisted based on their area of qualification, training, research experience and relevance of skills to the institute. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in front of a selection committee.
