Age Limit As on 30.09.2012 :
For Graduates : :Minimum 21 years and not more than 28 years as on 30.09.2012
For Post Graduates / Double Degree Graduates : Minimum 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 30.09.2012

Academic Qualification As on 30.09.2012 :
Any Bachelor degree (10 + 2 +3 pattern) in Second class (with 50% and above marks in aggregate)
Computer Knowledge : Minimum three months computer course for Non-computer graduates.

Mode of Selection :
i) IBPS SCORE CARD (CWE): Candidates who are having valid score card with 125 marks and above obtained in Common written Examination for Recruitment of Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in 2011 can apply.
ii) Depending upon the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination for Interview.
iii) Eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interview (Date of Interview and Venue will be informed by the Bank to the individual candidates through e-mail only)

I am an MBA graduate in human resources with first class. I have done my bachelor's degree in maths with third class. Many companies or banks are mentioning their educational requirements as they are looking for candidates who possess 50% in the Bachelor's degree. I have passed with 92% in SSLC and 79% in H.Sc. As my bachelor's degree percentage is below 50% i have a doubt whether I can apply for banking or government jobs.

If the requirement specified in degree is minimum 50%, then that is it.
