Job Description
up load & manage room allotments into the various internet booking engines, monitor, respond & facilitate in-coming reservations, look at yield management in terms of room inventory by up loading rooms during lean periods & close outs during peak periods.Maintain all content of the web sites.Maintain rates for internet based tour operators.Coordinate web developments with the management and the developer.Update the web site content.Monitor web bookings and flow up on the same. (Materialize failed bookings after calling) Manage the Online Travel Agent sites. Manage the IDS (Internet Distribution Systems).Organize allotments for web bookings and work close with F/O to fill up rooms.Organize special promotions when reservations are low.Analyze the booking patterns.Maximize web bookings.Respond to web queries and comments ASAP or within the same day. Find new OTA's (Overseas Travel Agents) and sign up with the OTA's.
Follow-up on OTA (Overseas Travel Agents) payments for bookings generated via the OTA sites.Manage all rates for Internet channel.Provide monthly/daily stats of web reservations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferably degree in Hotel Management with IT knowledge.Minimum 02 years experience in similar position.Experience in hotel reservation & front office system.basic IT knowledge to cover in the absence of the IT Asst. Manager.Knowledge of Hotel GDS (Global Distribution Service) booking engines
