BHEL, Bhopal, one of the major units of BHEL- the Country’s premier engineering Organisation and a NAVRATNA PSU which provides world class products and services to the core sectors like Power, Transportation, Transmission, Defence and Electronics sectors, invites applications for its well-equipped 300 bedded Kasturba Hospital from candidates of Indian origin for the following post on purely Fixed Tenure Appointment (FTA) basis. Preference will be given to the residents of M.P. State.

Qualifications & Experience :
1. Nursing Degree with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all subjects/ semesters put together (55% marks for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories).
2. The qualifying Degree should be recognized by the Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council. Individual should be have valid Registration with the respective Council at the time of applying.
3. Additional Qualification is desirable.
4. Candidate should have minimum 01 year post qualification experience as on 31.10.2012. Post-qualification experience should be in a large Hospital of repute.
REMUNERATION AND OTHER BENEFITS :
i) The Selected candidates will be paid consolidated compensation @ Rs 16450/- per month.
ii) No other allowances/benefits will be payable.
SELECTION PROCESS :
i) If the number of eligible applicants is in the ratio of upto 1 :10 to the number of posts, personal interview of all eligible candidates shall be conducted. If the number of eligible applicants is in excess of the ratio of 1:10 to the no. of posts, then all eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in respective degree examination & then conduct the Personal Interview of eligible candidates in the ratio of 1:10 to the number of posts.
ii) Final selection is based on the marks obtained in the Personnel Interview only.

What is the relaxation in age limit for OBC candidates?
AGE LIMIT AND RELAXATIONS
** The date for calculating the cut-off for upper age limit is 01/11/2012.
** Relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 3 years for Other Backward Classes (non creamy layer) is permissible.
**An additional relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit for Physically Challenged Candidates is admissible i.e. relaxation in upper age limit will be 10 years for General, 13 years for Other Backward Class and 15 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
** Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per extant Government rule.
** A relaxation of 05 years in upper age limit is alsoadmissible for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
** The candidates in all the categories should not be less than 18 years of age.
