We are experiencing the waves of globalization in all the walks of our life and teaching pedagogy used at business schools in India is no exception. Today's business has become more complex and challenging than ever before; teaching pedagogy at business schools has been metamorphosed from teaching centric to learning centric. Management graduates need knowledge, skills and right attitude in a balanced proportion to meet professional challenges of present and future

This case writing competition is intended to energize the development of cases related to Indian management issues and opportunities. The cases should address the unique characteristics of Indian businesses, to promote substantive discussion about Indian management practices and challenges. The case can be based on a variety of management subjects and industries.

Dhruva International Case Writing Competition 2012 on December 22, 2012 and Time : 9:00 am-6:00 pm

Awards :
The best three case writers will be awarded the cash prize of 20,000/-, 10,000/- & 5,000/- along with a certificate and citation. These best three cases will be published in Vidwat : The Indian Journal of Management, a referred journal of international repute licensed to EBSCO. The selected cases will also be published in the form of an ISBN-numbered book by a leading publisher.

Submission Guidelines :
Selection of case studies for presentation and detailed discussion will be based on quality, content and relevance to the theme. The electronic copy in MS- Word format should be mailed on or before 03 December 2012. Authors of the cases selected through a double-blind review will be notified within one week of the receipt of the complete case.

The electronic copy in MS- Word format should be mailed to us at dicwc2k@gmail.com on or before 03 December 2012.

Please make all submissions in MS Word format (.doc or .docx format) only. There is no size limit for the case as size of the case depends on the issue considered in the case. The case should be submitted along with abstract (ideally in 100-150 words) and teaching note. All submissions should be in Times New Roman, 12 point size (except Title of the paper, which should be 14 point size, single-spacing, with 1 inch margin on all sides

** 2, 500/- for corporate professionals
** 2,000/- for academicians / faculty members
** 1,000/- for management students / research scholars
** US $ 150 for international submissions
