Applications are invited from the Eligible local candidates whose names are registered in the Local Employment Exchange for engagement of Skilled ‘B’ worker on Daily Wage basis for a period of 06 (six) months in this Directorate of Transport, A & N Administration, Port Blair, as per the details given below;

Name of the Post : Skilled ‘B’ worker On Daily Wage Basis.
Age : For Male 18 – 33 years.
For Female 18-38 years
Qualification : Essential :
1. Pass in secondary school examination (10th Std) or its equivalent from a recognized board / institution;
2. Should possess trade certificate in Motor Mechanism or Auto Electrician of two yrs duration from a recognized ITI
3. Should qualify the trade test conducted by duly constituted selection committee.
Desirable : Two years professional experience in an automobile workshop.

Rate of wages : Rs. 284/- per day per head for North, Middle & South Andaman District and Rs.309/- per day per head for Nicobar district for 8 hours work in a single stretch or in two spells.
