Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an Institute of National importance, is looking for suitable persons for the following positions;

1. Name of the post : TECHNICAL OFFICER in CRNTS/SAIF
No. of post : 1
Pay Range : Rs. 28,000/- to 42,000/-
Age limit : Below 40 years
Qualifications & Experience : B.Tech. / M.Tech / BE / ME in Electrical /Mechanical / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering or equivalent disciplines OR M.Sc. In Physics/Chemistry/Biological Sciences or equivalent disciplines with at least 5-7 years in operating TEM/SEM.
Desirable : Ph.D in aforemetioned areas with experience in TEM/SEM/SIMS during research or post-doctoral work.

2.Name of the post : PART TIME COUNSELOR
No. of post : 1
Pay Range : Consolidated salary of Rs. 31500/- p.m.
Age limit : Below 35 years
Qualifications & Experience :
i) Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent. Additional qualification in Mental health and Counseling desirable.
ii) 5 years experience in counseling young adults.
Desirable :
a) Counselor should talk to the students on different challenges faced by them at regular intervals (peer pressure, relationships, academic stress, learning to make decisions, making responsible choices, knowing when to ask help for oneself and for others, family related issues, sexuality, identity, beliefs, time management, substance abuse, physical well-being etc.)
b) Conduct regular Q&A sessions in the hostels on different issues or answer questions online (either on a web-forum or to an individual)
c) Maintain updated information on all these issues online
d) Be available for counseling at fixed times (including Saturdays at least)
e) Act as a referral to the administration or hospital
f) Interact and interface with the mentoring and hostel student administration systems that are inplace to develop lines of communication with the students. Carry out awareness and outreach events from time to time.

3.Name of the post : LADY ASSISTANT SPORTS OFFICER
No. of post : 2
Pay Range : Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 42, 000 to Rs. 60,000/- p.m.
Age limit : Below 34 years (Preferred below 27 years)
Qualifications & Experience :
i) Bachelors Degree in Physical Education, (Four years duration course is preferred) from a recognized Institute / University with a minimum of 55% marks.
ii) Masters Degree in Physical Education of two years duration with at least 55% marks having specialized in one of the major Sports such as Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Swimming.
iii) Record of having represented Institute / University.
Desirable :
1. Should have Coaching proficiency in an additional major Sport.
2. Coaching Diploma from Sports Authority of India (NIS)
3. Should have represented State and or National.
