ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
i. Matriculation
ii. National Apprentice Certificate (NAC)/National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT.
Note :
(a) If candidates with NAC / NTC are not available in a particular trade then applicants with ITI or equivalent qualification will be considered against vacancy of the trade.
(b) Degree and Diploma in Engineering will not be accepted as qualification for Direct Recruitment to the semi-skilled po

Age as On Closing Date : Between 18 to 32 years

APPLICATION FEE : An application fee of Rs. 50/-. No fee will be charged for SC/ST, Women, PWD (Person with Disability) and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Separate Fees has to be paid for OF Dumdum and OF Nalanda.

SELECTION PROCEDURE : Short-listed candidates on the basis of written examination will be called for practical/trade test. Practical/trade test will be purely of qualifying nature. The selection will be made strictly as per merit, on the basis of written examination subject to getting qualified in the practical examination.

HOW TO APPLY :
The online application shall be at ofb.gov.in. The link will remain active from to for Ordnance Factory Dumdum & from to Ordnance Factory Nalanda.

The filling of online application contains two parts;
Part I Registration
Part II Registration
1. In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make correction, if any.
2. Part II Registration contains filling of payment details, uploading of photograph and scanned signature.
3. The application procedure will be incomplete without Part II Registration.
4. Candidates who have to pay application fee can pay fee as per direction given in website.
5. On successful completion of the transaction and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record.
6. Candidates should keep a copy of the Application printout and Fee Receipt for their record.
7. Candidates have to download Admission Card as per instructions provided in the website.
8. Candidates will be permitted to enter Examination venue only with the proof of Admission Card along with a photo identity proof.

What is the syllabus for written exam?

(i) NCVT for Technical.
(ii) A few questions will also be on General Awareness on Everyday Life and Science, Reasoning (Verbal and non-Verbal) & Quantitative Aptitude of Matriculation standard.

Note: The question paper will be in English, Hindi and Bengali. Duration of the examination will be 90 minutes for 100 multiple choice questions.
