Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date at 9.30 A.M. sharp for filling up of the following vacancies on the ad hoc research project entitled “ICMR Advance Centre (2) for Nutrition Foundation of India (NFI)” funded by ICMR at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated pay and service tenure are as under;

1.Name of the post : Research Assistant
No. of post : 1
Age : Below 30 years. Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per GOI Rules.
Cons. Pay : Rs.22,120/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances. Tenure Initially for one year, extendable for another one year based upon the performance.
Essential Qualifications : Three years Bachelor Degree in Bio-Chemistry / Life Sciences from a recognized university with DMLT / Certificate Course of one duration (OR) M.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable : Two years experience in a Diagnostics laboratory and experience in analytical techniques like ELISA, RIA and HPLC Experience in data management such as Microsoft Office.

2.Name of the post : Sr.Lab Assistant
Age : Below 35 years. Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per GOI Rules.
Cons. Pay : Rs.18,360/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.
Tenure : Initially for one year, extendable for another one year based upon the performance.
Essential Qualifications : Matric/SSC and DMLT from a recognized Board. or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with relevant experience in Govt. recognized Organization/Institute/Medical College.
Desirable : Two years experience in a Diagnostics laboratory. Knowledge in handling blood sample and analysis by Spectro photometer methods.
Date of Interview : 8th November, 2012

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and a set of Photo copies, duly attested, while attending the Walk-in-Interview. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C.
