Job Description
-To understand clients requirements and business objectives related to Technical Products (Sheet Metal/Plastic Cabinets and Enclosures)
-To use computer aided design & drafting techniques (SolidWorks Preferred) to produce assemblies, solid models, drawings and bill of material in accordance with established engineering specifications.
-To prepare sketches or drawings, set up specifications and other pertinent design data for layout drawings.
-To work in synergy with engineers to analyze and rationalize designs of components and assemblies for manufacturing and assembling requirements.
-To aid in the development of designs that can be produced economically to maintain or improve the company’s competitive position.
-To provide technical assistance and support to customer inquires.
-To directly supports the engineering projects and provides assistance to all employees.
-To ensure that the data is organized, documented and stored properly. Implements data backup and safety protocols.
-To coordinate with local vendors, workshops and laboratories for various design data and scanned data requirements.
-To remain abreast with the latest trends, product features, upgrades and implement into viable solutions.
-To track and manage tasks assigned independently so that the project deadlines are met.
-To be able to respond with a sense of urgency and should be able to ‘produce’.

Specialization in Mechanical Design / Sheet Metal Design/ Cabinet & Enclosure Design, Proficiency in SolidWorks / Pro-E / Equivalent 3D software. GD&T / FEA I.T. Knowledge: MS Office, MS Project
