Job Description
Delphi TCI seeks for candidates with expertise in ABAQUS.
The job is based out of Bangalore.
Please find the JD as below
Responsibilities -
- Interaction with EUROPE/US counterparts directly.
- Work in a group but handle independent project with life cycle of 2 or 3 weeks approximately.
- Fully responsible fro the PASS/FAIL criteria of the product.
- Exposure to the full product overview during the simulation process.
- Preprocessing the CAD models using Hypermesh/ABAQUS CAE, ANSYS, and Model cleaning using UG.
- FE model creation of the assembly/Component level.
- Solution using ABAQUS Implicit/Explicit for nonlinear contact problems, Vibration analysis using ANSYS (1 position).
- Creation of report.
- Recommending design suggestions for improvement of the performance of product

- PRODUCTION OF ACETYLENE IN RAIL WHEEL FACTORY (RWF) :
This project was carried out during 8th semester in Rail Wheel Factory. The purpose of project is to design the equipment of an acetylene plant and to analyze the cost of expenditure and to include the design with the area in a Rail Wheel Factory .In this project, we have improved the design by using Autocad and analysis with the help of ANSYS.
The hub cutting in the wheel is carried out using oxy acetylene flame. The acetylene and oxygen are in the ratio of 1 :3.The acetylene at present is brought in cylinders and is supplied to the hub cutting region through pipes .This is an highly expensive process. So our project has aimed to produce of acetylene in the vicinity itself which is highly economic.
