Two project positions in the Laboratory of “Host-Parasite Interaction Biology Group” are to be filled up on purely ad-hoc, temporary and on contract basis, co-terminus with the project, to work in the following DBT and ICMR funded projects.

Project-1 : Identification and molecular characterization of Hemocyte specific Immune modulators from Indian malarial vector Anopheles culicifacies

Qualification : Postgraduate in any branch of Life Sciences. Preference will be given to the candidates having work experience of Molecular genomics and bioinformatics in the field of molecular entomology as mentioned above. Project-2 : Understanding the molecular genetics of mosquito vector competence in Indian malarial vector Anopheles culicifacies.

Salary : Rs.18, 360/-p.m. (consolidated)
Tenure : One Year (likely extendable)

Qualification : Graduate/Post graduate in any branch of Life Sciences. Preference will be given to the candidates having technical work experience in the field of molecular entomology as mentioned above. Knowledge of computer application is must.
