Job Description
The Web Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as developing new technologies. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment, Developing new sites and widgets for present and future clients.

Key Accountabilities :
** To keep existing websites functional and up to date with new technology and content
** Coding and deployment of new websites, using open source and existing in-house technology
** Creation of modules and plug-in for websites.
** Management and upkeep of web servers
** Experience in working with content management systems (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal)
** Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP + MYSQL, JavaScript, JQuery is desirable
** Familiarity with how to troubleshoot web based applications
** Ability to communicate clearly to colleagues and upper management
** Understanding of latest browser capabilities interfaces
** Strong educational background in computer science or other related degree
** Adaptable skills with the ability take on new technology

Duties and Responsibilities
** Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
** Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal systems.
** Perform complete testing of Web applications.
** Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
** Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
** Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

Skills / Attributes Required
** Use of PHP, JavaScript, CSS and (X) HTML for website development. Knowledge in Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress or Zencart would be advantageous.
** Experience creating pages and widgets using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/XML/cross-browser accessibility
** Experience with PHP/MySQL/AJAX/Object Orientated Programming/ASP
** Ability to develop and integrate new sites with open source applications
** Experience with Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress or Zencart CMS system
** Understanding of back end development and integration with front end design
** Knowledge of web server applications
** Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
** Interest in new web technologies
** Must have excellent attention to detail
** Must be a self-starter and able to work independently on projects
** The ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously. (in a strict deadline-oriented environment)
** Overtime at short notice

You will be maintaining and troubleshooting web based applications for existing systems and developing new web applications. Assist in developing codes and actually see your codes make an impact on the company website
