Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), an autonomous Institute established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, at Bangalore, invites application from suitable candidates for the following positions on long term contract with consolidated pay

1)Name of the post : Junior System Administrator
No. of post : 1
Scale of Pay : PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
Age limit : Preferably below28 years (as on 1.9.2012)
Qualification : Graduate preferably B.Sc (Computer Science)/BCA or 3 years Diploma in Computer Application.
Experience : Essential: Minimum Four (4) years experience in software and hardware, maintenance of Unix/Linux/ Mac based systems.
Desirable :
i) Good networking and communication skills with end-users as well as vendors & troubleshooting Desktop/Laptops.
ii) Hands on experience on configuring and deploying Wireless Routers.

2)Name of the post : Administrative Assistant

Qualification & Experience :
i) Graduate with 55% marks.
ii) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications.
iii) 5 years experience in academic administration in an educational/research organizations of repute.
Desirable :
i) 3 years Diploma in Secretarial practice.
ii) Experience of 10 years or more in educational/Scientific institutions.
