V-Guard Big Idea Business Plan Contest 2012 :
V-Guard Industries Ltd is a leading consumer electronic and electrical major dealing in 11 products and having more than 29 branches across India .V-Guard registered a gross turnover of over Rs 1000 crores (as on 31st March 2012). V-Guard enjoys brand popularity all over India and is now making a global presence with its increasing exports and markets spread over the world.

V-Guard's Big Idea Business Plan contest 2012 (Season 2) prods students from B-schools across India to get creative and come up with new business avenues for V-Guard.

Last date for Registration is 28th September 2012

1. Phase -I
Each team should register online, on or before 28th September 2012 and then send the non – refundable participation fee along with the printout of the registration form before 7th October 2012.

2. Phase -II :
Online Briefing
An online brief will be sent to all the registered teams by 28th September 2012.

3. Phase -III
Executive Summary Submission (7th October 2012)
All the teams will have to submit the executive summary online on or before 7th October 2012.

4. Phase -IV :
Declaration of Finalists (12th October 2012)
Top 10 teams will be shortlisted based on the reports submitted. The teams shortlisted will be intimated through their mail id.

5. Phase -V :
Final report Submission (1st November 2012)
Each team selected for the final will then submit the final report of their business plan on or before 1st November 2012.

6. Phase -VI :
Business Plan Contest Finals (10th November 2012)
The teams will make an oral presentation before the judges on 10th November 2012

Rules & Regulations :
** The number of members in a team should not exceed 3.
** The participants must produce Id card on request.
** Registration Fees: Rs 1000/- per team from a college.
** Participation will be confirmed subject to receipt of participation fee .The fee paid is non refundable.
** The decisions of the judges will be final and binding on the participating teams.
** Participating teams are requested to visit the website (www.vguard.in) for any updates about the competition
** Organizers have the right to make changes in the event if necessary.
